Say the phrase "fat loss" and your ad will get canned for offensiveness several steps before the submit button LOL.

(I don't think I can in Chicago if it is not my primary residence and there are fewer than 4 units.)

I've spent more time reading about HOW to lose this fat than putting in the effort to actually losing it, like going for a jog or consistently doing workouts/exercises.I just "jumped in" with renting out my bachelor pad and not knowing the true costs, I ended up selling that property because it was a financial dog, and putting it into a duplex.

You have to leverage what you can in your position.

So while a 3 year old eviction would normally be a big fat NO, I can identify with a need to take a closer look at the rare person who wants to be a tenant.  

@Jordon March -  Anyone will go for anything if the business plan is sound, the operator is a rockstar and the profit margin is fat enough.  

My fat wife might eat it too.

I'd love to invest in my home town, and sincerely appreciate any help along the way (and of course, even if at minimum free grub for you or even help with deals, I'm happy to do all that I can in return!).

@Motu Lemafa, I suggest you just engage as many people as you can in-person to what you want to do and be naturally curious.For me, getting new clients has been hard though the referrals have started to come.
