My land is in south of Charlotte (Ballantyne Village)Thanx

The house I am looking at is 3 miles south from east Atlanta village and I see a lot of mid 300s homes and new communities in the area.

More specifically, it is in an historic area referred to as German Village.  

City investing in transit station across the street, constructing 3 multi-story housing units and a commercial walking village Lessons learned?

We own a property with two detached units in Atwater Village on a ~6k sq ft lot that is zoned R1.

The village that charges this has been dissolved, but the billing has been taken over by the town.

It's not a silly question at all BTW . . . all things tax related are complicated beyond reason and it takes a village to figure it out in my experience :)
