Elevations Credit Union will do HELOCs on properties that are not single family.

Oil prices seem to always take a significant dip every 7 to 8 years right around the final term of the presidency and then after the election it mysteriously goes through the sky...so by 2017 you will see that crude elevation.... at least that's been the case since the Clinton Admin...which is when I've first noticed the trend. my coin.Kudos,Mary

You also have to deal with elevated property management costs (25% in this case!!!)

I do a lot of condo deals and have some great lenders at Elevations, Compass, and Vectra all of whom will lend on those.

I attended @Jorge Abreu's "Elevate" meetup last month.

When in fact this guy owned the home free and clear it appears.BP is a great resource but just because someone posts on BP or is a BP member does not elevate them to a position of blind trust and faith..

Stuff that has been on the market for a long time is getting bought up.Very few markets with inventory equals elevated prices.  

Whoever you meet can be a potential lender, so always be ready to tell everyone what your goals are, what your experience has been, and do it in a professional and concise manner (elevator speech). 

Long term: I am primarily looking for mountain property w/ or w/o house; probably between 6000 and 8500 ft elev.
