So me and my family are currently trying to do one of three things at the moment currently we're trying to move out of the current location that we're in but we want to do that in a manner to where we kind of fall into a real estate investment so has anybody else here heard of like the sub to process and is it possible to use a sub too to fall into a multi-family property so that you can house hack as well as find a better place to live I guess I used to try to do the whole I am a real estate investor blah blah blah conversation but now I'm just going to talk from the root of my problems in the reality that I'm looking at this so if anyone is out there that could actually help me I'm in the Tacoma Washington area I'm looking for a mentor partner just a friend that's already doing the real estate stuff that can give me pointers and maybe go to lunch from time to time and talk over different strategies

The sewer main line was never upgraded and was probably 70+ year old lead pipe with roots growing through from the driveway down to the street.

I suggested to build the fence a foot or so in their property(they do not want to do this)  or cut our the root portion from the bottom of the fence(also do not want to do this)My property is in Woodrbidge, NJ, Does anyone have any advice for me?
