The city building inspectors have been fine to work with in my experience BUT as I mentioned in an earlier posting, if anyone ticks off or gets in bad with the city of Milwaukee, they have no qualms at all dropping their hammer on them and can and sometimes will wreck financial havoc on people and they're especially worried about absentee landlords (which I totally understand since we've had a lot of clowns who chase down their rent $$ like bloodhounds, but somehow when it comes time for major $$ repairs, they are harder to find than DB Cooper!

I agree, it will come with knowledge and skills, not just RE skills, social skills, the skill of persuasion, analytical skills and intuition, that's really tough to teach.That's what a teacher is suppose to do, make the student think, if you can then great, making them think in the right direction is a real trick, especially in RE.I'm not going to hammer away at guru stuff in this thread, if people are interested in my opinions they aren't hard to find.

Further separation with the double drywall (you can actually run one of the layers as sound insulating drywall if you like) and the green glue should fix up most everything except noise transfer through things like copper plumbing (water hammer) plastic plumbing drains, or hallway recirculating ductwork.It’s a wood framed building, probably built to minimum code at the time.
