Really elevated the look of the unit. 

So liens in higher lien positions are lower in their claim to equity which is an elevation of risk of loss.

Finally, I elevated the issue to Terry Kerr himself who was able to get his folks to physically go to the property and check the health and safety of not only the tenant, but also the functional systems of the property itself.  

UPDATE:After much digging, finally found a great resource that shows the elevation in meters for just about every city.

Though not purchasing quite yet, we are all evaluating options, making sure our next homes will be accessible - no stairs, wider doorways, elevators (if we select to purchase in a larger multi-unit building), with shops and healthcare nearby, etc. 

I started out on the cheap, listening to books and radio shows but then I joined a mentor group and that really quickly helped elevate my investing career.

Have building assessments been recently made (can be up to a 15k surprise if the building needs elevators or HOA hasn't budgeted correctly). 2.

They need to handle on their own.Having tenants try to work things out among themselves is a good first step, but sometimes more is necessary when a tenant is irresponsible.I was advised once to talk to a noisy neighbor before elevating the issue.

If you are sitting at home, without a job that can elevate your career, or family to spend more time with then it makes sense to manage your own properties.
