When you only need a small fraction to live a very nice life (speaking of the upper half of “rich”) you’d think those numbers would approach 50%.

One day, the perception of those colleges will change, but it's going to take several years.Sorry for the rant...I agree college is important but to automatically take on 200k of debt when you could have taken on only a fraction of it, or none at all, signals a serious error in judgement and common sense.

I have the good location for a fraction of that cost and I invest elsewhere.

The number of people that could pull this off would be a fraction of a fraction of a percent.

Cars can be expensive but for many men it is just a tiny fraction of the money they will spend on women!

@Renee Anders if the carpet in the remaining bedrooms is met with laminate at the doors, you can often get remnants from carpet installers (new carpet, too short for another full job) for a fraction of the normal cost per square foot.

I would rather pay a lot more money upfront now to get my bigger rental spreads and reach my goal faster then leverage and make a fraction of the spread.

It is true in real estate you can do very well without a degree, but only a small fraction of people achieve high levels.

Talk about price discrimination, thought that was ust a marketing thing  :)If I were to also look into what fraction of the transactions in CA involved foreign nationals, I am sure this might also be exagerated way out of proportion as with other things so far.
