Once upon a time it was a really thriving and prosperous place. 

Many areas in the city are thriving, such as Gardners Basin, Venice Park, Chelsea, Chelsea Heights, Monroe Park, WestSide, Bungalow Park, etc.

My point was that a thriving market with record high prices is good for those who work in the industry and get paid based on market prices.
