@Jake Gove I'm curious why you can't find a renter to break even since rents have increased quite a bit in the area since 2012.

Con's  - I have heard that it can limit the number of people who are exposed to your property, since RE agents are not going to show clients your property.  

Seriously though, it was the fact that the hosts sincerely care about their audience and had amazing guests to boot.
