This along with more automation and outsourcing will leave the next generation in a tough spot with even larger student loans and an education bubble.

In my case, I took a page out of Silicon Valley's playbook and kept my "core competency" in house (technical writing) and outsourced the other aspects of running a business to a boutique temporary help agency (marketing, accounts receivable).

I started outsourcing property management way sooner at 5 units, b/c I wasn't good at it and didn't like it.  

Owners don typicaly care if the maintenance is in-house or outsources as long as they are qualified. 

Outsource that to a professional and focus on continuing to scale.
