When I think Riverside/Inland Empire I think brown hills, generic cookie cutter developments, endless freeways, strip centers full of all the same chain restaurants, no culture, car culture and baking hot summers.

I've lived here for 6 years, and the STR market is killing it, since we have so many waterfront areas (Ozello, Fort Island Trail, Pine Island, and so many more) but the only problem is that Crystal River passed a city ordinance banning short term rentals in an effort to protect the manatees and local culture.

I started a thread about replacing the bathroom tiles and then someone else started one about their cultured marble installation (unfortunately I was not able to find that thread again.I was quoted $1800 by a company here in Orlando to do the cultured marble (in a shower--no tub).

Over a decade ago when I moved here from the northeast Salt Lake was totally uninspiring from a cultural standpoint.
