I just actually rented my first str on a fishing trip to montana last week and I used VRBO.. and looking for a unit in Maui when I go in Dec  so going to use VRBO again.WE have our first one as an owner up and running in INdy.. got tenants first week on market.. hopefully a good sign.

Towns typically have bigger fish than this to fry, unless there is a personal beef involved somewhere or you are creating a major nuisance in the neighborhood.When you say the zoning has been switched, is this actually the case or are you just referring to the tax card which says 'commercial' '4a-commercial'?

Only annoyance is automated emails telling me money was deposited in my checking account and disrupting my hunting & fishing.

Either connect with the big fish finding the deals or hire people to find deals off market and be direct to seller.

He also makes some badass fishing lures!  

Water access to the inland bays (boat ramp, kayak launch, boat docks, fishing/crabbing docks), community pool, clubhouse, playground etc.

Not sure what the wife will do, but I'll be fishing.

Not saying you cant find a deal on MLS, but that pool has too many people fishing and it only takes ONE buyer to overpay and everyone else is out of the game.

I know you are a “work your market” kind of guy and I would normally agree; however, the competition here is so fierce that the true deals are gone within hours and unless you have the marketing systems in place to generate your own leads a smaller fish like me will never see it.
