And since they were mostly college educated and some had real jobs (which first floor promptly got fired from right after she moved in, for mouthing off to her supervisor), we didn't do all our due diligence.Tough lesson, and it's not over yet.

That doesn't stop employers from acting irresponsibly, but it does point out the error of their ways.So long as people are not valued as such in the work place, these issues will continue.

Try to actually speak with supervisor/owner and let them know their lack of communication has been unacceptable.
