You have my sympathies @Andrea Coulter.

My sympathies to people in tenant friendly areas.

But if all people want to do is stand outside and complain, I don't have much sympathy.  2020 prevented just about all work on the new zoning, but should be picking back up by now.

In a way got lucky because even though they were all month to month tenants at that point they were not professional tenants and had some sympathy for the sellers. 

Show no sympathy whatsoever.

Her daughter(who I forgot about) is at her home for now and I think I'll leave her a letter with my Information if she wishes to sell.If you're next door, her daughter is there, then send over a sympathy card with an added note you would like to buy the property if it's available and see what happens.

It's easy money for them and let's be honest, who is going to have sympathy for a landlord accused of violating fair housing laws. 

So don't let compassion and sympathy drive your business decisions.

Legally I dont know what that means but the OP shouldn't have taken advantage like that in the first place so hard to find too much sympathy for him here.
