The buildings were built very well 50 years ago for families of soldiers on the local military base but the base eventually closed down which is what caused the town to start going down in the first place. 

This is in South Carolina, soldier not on the lease.

The Soldier just didn't come home, and the landlord tossed them out into the streets just like that!  

Besides if the Soldier is deployed they're getting BHA and the soldier needs to give a copy of the lease to their unit admin I believe, this should help the soldier pay the rent. good luck

Army soldiers.2,509 stores were looted or burned, 388 families were rendered homeless or displaced, and 412 buildings were burned or damaged enough to be demolished.

The whole point of this is to give him the jump start in life my wife and I wish we had as young (financially uneducated) Soldiers years ago, and if he realizes the possibility of REI, and has a potential goal and path when his enlistment is up.Thanks guys
