I've been toying with the idea of furniture made entirely of reinforced concrete (poured right into the floor so the tenants can't steal it).

I needed your post to calm the nerves and J Scott 's post to reinforce the Million Dollar resource I've already discovered.

Other areas on the unit might also benefit from a little reinforcement, especially kitchen and bath.

Also had to purchase reinforcer for mixing, primer for bonding the concrete to the backer, the color stain I wanted, a sprayer and a suitable top coat.Step 2: (Only for wood subfloor)Install HardiBacker, tape seems with fiberglass tape, serico all seams. 3 coats and sand.Step 3:Paint a coat of primer over everything and when tacky to the touch:Mix concrete with reinforcer and trowel on roughly an 1/8" thick everywhere.

Then talk to him about reinforcing it and ensuring that no kids can slip through the gaps (if there are any).

. - I picked up on several things in your last post that reinforced what I was assuming:ALWAYS include an allowance for property management, even if you plan to do it yourself.
