I’m brand new to the realty scene.

I'm new to the investment scene and wanted to network with others who have the same interests.

I am brand-spankin new to the real estate scene and have been studying it now for the past 4-5 years to no avail.

While the studying I’ve done helps me understand the concepts he’s talking about (2% and 70% rules among others), being on the scene to see things in the real world is invaluable.  

.), especially if you don't know many people - the social scene makes it worth the commute.

This gives me pause because there could be all kinds of shenanigans going on behind the scenes (i.e. what if the borrower has some kind of relationship with the wholesaler and has no intention of renovating the house?).

I'm likely to bring in many accounts over the years with other clients, friends and family, so if you know a guy that sounds right for me, please let me know.Side note: I'd really rather avoid the section 8 scene, but I'm not staunch against it.Oh... and my property is in south Dallas (a little below the Dallas zoo).
