This is the type of response I was looking for - some sort of explanation as to why my property was being denied coverage. 

I have always been interested in home construction techniques that are different or older.Container homes, these sorts of shot-crete homes, bale homes etc.The biggest issue is not that fact that they will rent, for if they are in the right location, of course they will rent just fine.

They may require a foundation (footings) of some sort, a different home set up, among other things.

We are in the woods where we really wanted to create another sort of living space outside of the square footage of the home. 

Don't buy a 2br/1ba without a basement and no garage on a corner lot next to the scrap yard, just because it's cheap and the seller is motivated.

I found a seller who is motivated to sell his property at a pretty steep discount.My plan is to put the property in escrow on an executory contract/land contract with the condition that the title will transfer once the seller receives his funds.

They don't have anything specific for sorting by furnished spaces but there may be a check box to select for when sorting. 

Some of it has to do with the same sorts of challenges you see with smaller sized businesses in general - mom & pop shops aren't always keeping the best financial records or doing their taxes the correct way.That’s what I figured, thanks again ! 

Not sure if it had something more to do with pandemic response to move to lower priced areas or what the motivation was.
