I believe that it some cases, if you know someone, have a good network, and have good internship experience, then those things are just as valuable than a specific major when getting a job.

Some hospitals keep a list on hand for workers coming in for extended stays of less than a year.When I lived in Seattle in the 1980s I rented a four bedroom house and sublet one of the rooms to medical school students who came from other states to do 3-month externship/internships.

It included course work, several practicums/internships, projects, etc.Similarly the year long program is difficult for me to explain exactly on what I spent the money other than to tell you to read the comment above.

I don't see why kids have to spend significantly more to live in an expensive college town to pay expensive tuition when they can instead be staying in a more affordable area, paying less fees for tuition, and still accelerate their real world experience with networking/internships/entrepreneurship.

I’ve been immersed in the BP podcast while studying civil engineering, and I can either do an engineering internship this summer, or shadow an investor.My long term goal is renting and holding mobile home parks and mini storage units, but I’d like to flip some smaller properties to get started.
