Happy Holidays all!

Happy Easter to everybody’s families if the Holiday applies.

I listed this house well into the winter holidays and was getting a bit restless that I wasn't getting much action on it.

Due to the holidays may not know until Tuesday.  

REO's looking to get assets off the books and collect losses, investors and families begin checking out early as holidays get near, etc.

Most STR owners joined the game during/since COVID and does not know what normal looks like causing newer owners to panic and drop rates to rock bottom (4 bedrooms with indoor pools during spring break art $229 a night when the Holiday Inn Express is $249 a night).

Moreover I like to make sure they are happy along the way by checking in, sending gifts on holidays etc.

However, by the time we wrapped up the rehab it was practically the holiday season which is typically the "slow" period in Metro Detroit for both sales transactions and renting properties.

I’ve had other random issues come up on holidays or weekends late at night with guests.

We started tear down in Nov and framing started 7th of Dec. it took way longer than expected since I’m a GC and used my own guys, I put a nail in my hand and other guy had a baby plus holiday time it was way off….. **** happens I guess.
