Depending on your local environmental regulations and how big the parcels are you may be able to sell land to the city if they need to replace habitat to build a road or something.

You can try Habitat For Humanity they sell a broad range of recycled stuff.I shop at Home Depot except for specialty items .

Many times on both sides.Yes, the board needs to bless the transaction, or larger ones may give specific authority to a committee or even one executive director, depends on the scope of business and the the significance of the transaction to the organization.With smaller organizations, like local affiliate off Habitat for Humanity, you find citizen members who may not have a real estate background but one or two who do and the board will generally be in a go along mode relying one such key members.

Check out Habitat for Humanity if there's one in your area - they've got all kinds of stuff, from fixtures to furniture to cabinets/vanities.

I was working with Habitat for Humanity, which was helpful, until I got sidelined by a sports injury.
