If you want an in-depth view I would:- Research government statistics (population growth, median prices, appreciation, etc)- Qualitative research- Go to meetups, talk to investors (you won't find it hard to find someone investing out of state in OH)- Use softwares like rentometer, Vestmap, etc that's what I always say.

Does quickbooks or any other software allow me to consolidate everything to one app and automatically input my accounting, with reports?

Most credit reporting offered with property management software will include an ID check of some sort also.

Buildium is not appropriate software for short-term.

This company is a scam, they have mediocre software and zero support.
