I'm an Asheville STR owner and a broker on the Cashiers/Highlands Plateau.

I wouldn't think it would take a private lender (which is much higher priced) than a typical mortgage broker's rates.Is there a reason you think you need a private lender?

@Brandon Stelling I would recommend reaching out and connecting with various commercial brokers who specialize in each of these spaces.

You could go into brokerage and sell properties, working your way up to brokering commercial properties.

In short, the current PM ended up not having a valid broker's license to be operating as a property manager in the first place, so that's on me for not verifying ahead of time.

Again, free, it advances the title company.Another freebie professional would be a CPA, another phone call, they are willing to meet groups with potential clients.Another, call an insurance broker who provides property, liability and professional liability insurance, they are motivated just as the CPA and attorney.Find an owner of a real estate school for agents!

I'd talk to brokers in your specific asset class and market.Do you already own similar assets?
