Truly sad.They have been reported to some authorities, but I am not sure if anyone was able to collect legally.I would love to offset the $25-30K I lost getting tied up in their scam.

Being able to A/B test MTR at the same time would allow you to know if you can convert the STR to MTR if you ever want to move out and keep the property.As for the net negative house hacks - I always like to remind people that shy away from a deal because they aren't making money that they are usually still coming out ahead if they are spending the same or less than they would on rent.Great last point.

This is yet another tale of a building inspector who feels the need to assert his authority by constantly reminding everyone, "I am the Inspector." 

Also I am highly suspect of a company that would use an endorsement on their hope page of the controversial author Regina Jackson, whose claim to fame is hosting expensive workshops and writing books that claim all white people are racists. 

That does not mean there aren't issues to consider.

They aren't doing it to help syndicate investors.I don't know anything about this deal other than what I've read here, so take everything I say with a grain of salt...but this plan appears to kick the can for a year.
