Alan keep in mind all states that have state income tax   will tax you on all income .. not just CA.. that's why many folks jump over the Columbia river to SW Washington no income tax.. all your airline pilots live there for instance at least most. :) 

Don’t put yourself in a bad financial position because you want to look “Insta-famous and rich”You can do a lot of value adds for your tenants to make it win/win.. very similar to upcharging you get at restaurants, movie theater, airlines etcThings you can do and charge an override off top of my head...Also make sure you can charge things to tenants.

Good and bad.It’s like if the airline flight is delayed and you miss an important meeting and do not get the job, they don’t pay your Salary due to them running a bad airline operation. 

They are airline pilots and the house is close to the airport.A month after moving in, I received a call from the tenant saying he is out of town at the moment, and a friend who is on town for one night needs a place to stay and he offered his place.

It's like buying Citibank for $1.25 a share in 2009 or American Airlines for the same price after 9/11.

Not unless it breaks up in flight which is practically unheard of for a passenger airliner.

Check with Coco-Cola, Delta Airlines, etc. and see if they have any executives moving to the area that want to rent a place for a little while before deciding on a purchase.
