@Samantha N.samana is good to invest I do not know if you will build or buy but if you build like how I am doing then you need to be carful with the steep lands they have on the mountains, before you build or buy make sure the title is clean do not buy the acta de venta unless you know the families that is selling the land, samana is very attractive tourist area does not have the boom like punta cana but is attractive and your investment will go a long way.

I'd recommend researching areas to see that they have:- Low unemployment- High demand for housing - relatively low inventory- local job creation/booming local economy- high avg/median income- increasing population- low average days-on-market (DOM)- history of rent and property value increases YOY- low crime- highly-rated schools (or above average)I'd compare the target neighborhood to surrounding neighborhoods and/or nearest metro areas.

Tripping over dollars to pick up pennies.Even when investing in your local market one should think about making it as passive/hands off as possible. Not right away but over time for sure.As the cliche saying goes "Working on the business and not in the business"Investing in real estate shouldn't just become another job.Easier said than done but still, this should be every investors focus IMO.Happy Weekend bro 🙏 there was a case where an Aussie citizen decided they were going to save money and come to detroit to do their renovations themselves.. got in a arguement with someone and boom shot dead.

Again, lower your expectations.Good luck Just spent a few hours stalking the new properties we brought to our PM book.Bloody nora mate, hard to believe what folks are buying and where and for how much 🤷♂️First time in 10+ years that I actually started getting worried a bit about our market.I mean, we are talking D class stuff selling for $80,000+All off the MLS also.Toledo got some sexy PR this year but this is insane. Can't sell turnkey in B class for sub $100,000 if my life depended on it.But D class run down $%#@ off the MLS selling for $80,000 all day long. And some solid comps to support this $#%@ also...PM is booming so we will ride the wave.Surfs up 🏄What a shame though....
