I'm not saying what my opinion of this was, but I never saw a single owner divulge the real amount....they would usually make it about 10-20% of the actual costs.I'm not even sure if you are legally required to tell them what you spent...seems like an invasion of privacy issue....?

Hey Annmarie, it's true that sellers sometimes withhold lease information to protect tenant privacy, I do find it a bit inconvenient not having full visibility before making an offer however, the seller might be concerned about protecting the tenants' privacy.

It would depend on your market and I don't know yours, but STR guests in our area tend to value privacy/seclusion and so stacking units on top of one another isn't preferred.
