We are looking into buying a property in Greece (Kalabaka) to use as a short term rental, and wondered if anyone has any experience with this. 

I grew up in Greece and have been living in Switzerland for the last 10 years.I've been investing in stocks/bonds/ETFs for almost 5 years now and I've made the big decision together with my wife to focus on real estate investing and start from Greece. 

In Greece,  real estate has depreciated due to lack of demand.  

This may have to do with a visit we are having now from my sister in law from Greece.

Greece is a fantastic and beautiful pace.

I'm still worried about Greece and country dominos...Vikram- You've been less active on here recently than me!
