Of course you will need the help of others, but you have to have a solid grasp of what facts give you an accurate value.

Perhaps.Since state law here (and elsewhere in the West actually) states that signed escrow instrux SUPERCEDE a signed purchase agreement, it's not that hard to grasp why Chicago and Fidelity and First American where I am have no issue with starting with the instructions.I work some really convoluted title messes and I can assure I get no special love from title and escrow.

That said, I've got my eyes on a few franchises as well, but they all require capital and I don't have much.In the near term, I'm focusing on my MBA (not sure if that's the right call or not given the cost of an MBA and the additional debt burden I'll have to take on), but I don't yet have a solid grasp on how to move forward with a new business either.

Do you grasp conceptual arrangements well, can you play chess or does a game of checkers give you problems in planning your next move?

The blog and podcast have been great resources for grasping the basics, and I'm planning on connecting with some of the local meetings coming up - they seem like a good next step.
