Yes you partner with them on the individual deal but you get the reps in to become better at watching a deal from start to finish. 

After watching some of the podcasts and reading posts I am set on starting my real estate journey utilizing the house hacking strategy.

Otherwise, I'd say watch those areas closer to Micron understanding the barrier to entry will be significantly higher in exchange for the lower risk.
