It's definitely worth investigating.Yes, you can install motion-sensor cameras to monitor vacant rentals, but they require some paid service to monitor remotely (wifi, hotspot, etc.) 

It helps to have the reminder that I need to proceed with the goal in mind, and not just go through the motions.

It's always best to start local and then gain experience as you go through the motions as a new landlord. 

We want a camera system that:1) Connects to internet for remote monitoring via an office computer (not just a mobile device)2) Has motion-sensor alerts3) Records to the cloud, so a thief can't disable/steal the camera to hide their identityWe plan to remove these cameras once a property is rented and reinstall at the next vacant rental.Wi-Fi connection to internet is possible, but we'd also like to look into cellular connections to internet.What suggestions do you have please?

Closer to home, you could look at military communities with lots of financially stable uniformed and civilian members eagerly looking for a nice place.

I think there must be some organization that has this canned business model ready to go and approaches people who have names / followings and offers to implement it for them, given the near absolute uniformity in the advertising, and the convention / sell / upsell structure with all the exact same sales tactics, just substituting out the guru for the flavor of the week.

Consider adding motion-detecting floodlights and installing visible CCTV cameras around entry points to deter crime.

I transitioned out of the US Government in 2022 after retiring from uniform and then another nearly 12 years as a Senior Government civilian at Fort Bragg (now Liberty) North Carolina. 

But the posters who invested here are uniformly very quick to claim what they invested in was a fraud.
