I'm not sure if they can realistically pass that liability off to you simply by stating it in their contract.

Sometimes it makes sense to pay the gains if there are not adequate replacements.

In my experience, it is worth simply reaching out to your realtor first. 

BAM is consistently paying out monthly with Class A shares but class B shares stopped paying out almost immediately with the interest rate hikes.

But, yes, it sounds like simply looking at your numbers and determining whether or not you can absorb a salary is the time to consider it. 

A lot of research and studies have come out around high paying jobs make large impacts.
