I personally dont do any of that.. every market / or most will have an active fix and flip sector or buy and hold sector the important thing to me is the operator full stop.. great operator will do well in any market and all the national data simply is noise at least at my level. ( loaning our own money and JV deals with our own money)  we dont broker or anything like that.

Otherwise with the dwindling tech sector in SF, and the remote work (2-3 days a week) that is most likely here to stay, it just doesn't seem like a strong mid term market to me.

There is a wide range of sectors within commercial real estate.

There are, of course, also things like politics and tax policies preventing the New York side from developing its tourism sector to be on par with Ontario...

Hotels and hospitality are a super interesting sector to me.

They have mentors in all different business sectors.
