We have some capital and are looking to possibly purchase a small hotel.

Is it possible to buy a property in Seattle low enough to get 1%, yes.

However, we're concerned about the possible unforeseen.

I would have the determination and dedication to take on as many projects as possible if the funding was available.

I would love to just put my mind at ease with a little more knowledge and pointers as to how we can start out as strong as possible.

I want to start investing in assets early in life, and possibly become a landlord in the future. 

Our market is still great, great pricing, and a solid opportunity to acquire off-markets as i work with wholesale partners, but a very savvy agent that can negotiate well for STR or long term rentals and great with understanding the best possible options for an investment property. 

I actually recommend house hacking as a first step if possible.
