My favorite thing though I have transitioned to is outdoor bathtubs instead of hot tubs.

It will depend alot on the number of beds offered and the size of the home overall; do you have enough indoor and outdoor seating for 9 guests?

A really nice outdoor patio area seems to be much more desirable than a large space to waste water on if you have grass or landscaping if you're trying to be drought tolerant.
