I intentionally keep mine in a different county than I live in too, just in case they do notorious serious or something.I don't own many rentals these days, but if I did, id have one of the online pay services or set up an ACH on their paydays.

@Jay Hinrichs has stated right here 1st hand knowledge of persons that have gone to prison on this very thing. 

@Armando Carrera what you are talking about is mortgage fraud and it’s a felony that could send you to prison. 

They had named him Rommel on purpose, as they were involved with prison gang life and some people.. well I guess they simply choose to not reform or adjust.

BMO Harris is notorious for getting this wrong and reporting it as simply "revolving" credit.

He deserves to be in prison.

So I would ask what you care the most about depending on the type of deals you do.I do think checking references and reviews is important as that's sometimes overlooked and some lenders are notorious for switch & baiting.
