Unless they are cooking meth in a room they don’t want you to see or find the body in the freezer. 

And it also doesn't help that we're putting tarriffs on a bunch of key materials (steel and aluminum) which is going to drive up the price of materials yet again. 

Since then, I’ve worked as a CTO and consultant, but real estate has always been a key focus.

Something as close to turn key as possible but it doesn't need to be perfect.  

Also, what is your price range for a purchase and are you looking for turn-key or a fixer upper?

Listings were published in a book and realtors kept all the keys in their office there were no lock box's  you had to go to the listing brokers office and check out the keys. 

I don't currently have any investment properties, but will likely work with a turn-key property managment in the Memphis/Little Rock area.My goal is to build a good cash-flow portfolio to ease into retirement.

For a first time investors that I work with I would recommend going with a turn key solution.
