Hi Bien, have you poked around at Hilton Head Island yet?

I am investing out of state, I am from long island and work in NYC.

Also, stay away from Insula Capital AKA Atlantic Capital Holdings out of New York (Long Island) I didn't lose $200,000 but lost $10,000 plus on a deal they gave us a funding letter for $300,000 cash for a flip we were purchasing.

I would call some of the top brokers on the island for home sales north of $10M and ask them what commission they charge along with what do they do for you for that commission.

I have lived in Hawaii for many years but now that I’m a traveling healthcare provider, I am off island more often than not.When I’m not on contract I would love to have a place to return to and when I’m away I would love to rent it out for some additional income.

It seems like there's a lot of opportunity right now in that SEPA and South Jersey area (I'm on Long Island but have worked with folks who operate down there), and you're setting yourself up with smart partners, so you're ahead of the pack here already.I do have a good relationship with a strong commercial brokerage firm in that area, let me know if that would be a useful connection for you.

Saint Pete Beach and Treasure Island is not STR friendly in general.
