It's not the same - you have to deal with transportation, storage, through put cost, counterparty risk, the need to find an end buyer in the right location with the demand at the right time, collections and billing on giant sums of money, etc. 

It is like a giant credit card that you could do anything you want with.

Now a giant city 250,000 people and home to Cowboys, Stars, FC Dallas, minor league baseball, lots of companies, new Universal Studios theme park and something like 10 high schools now...big high schools. 

How hard is it to direct a gutter downspout away from the foundation, cut a stump off a gas line, cut down the giant dead tree in the yard, at least caulk and paint, etc.?

There were some items that just didn't fit the standard I want in my MTRs (like my giant bean bag lol)

And that is a "perfect storm" for the giant sloth of corporate consolidation who is too slow a rambling titan too innovate, they regurgitate. 

They don't really care so much about facts, reality, what's good or bad, they just want a giant damn snickers to cram in there pie-hole, and to feel guilt free when there doing it.Now before ya-shake your fist in the air over the collective stupidity/insanity of it all keep in mind, these are the same kids that we all decided to raise where nobody got 1st, 2nd or 3rd place anymore, no-no-no, we said that would hurt feelings so we decided regardless of actions EVERYONE got a medal, the exact same medal.
