I used to be a framer and finish carpenter and they loved having skilled volunteers. 

I have a large historical commercial property that I am starting a rehab on and am in need of a skilled carpenter/framer.

Im currently a house framer for a company out of saint Augustine fl.

@Scott Ryne  we use incentive based pay scale as well.. one issue we are having on the west coast is sub trades.. its really really tough for many right now there simply is not enough.If I was a lead framer on the west coast I would seriously think about starting your framing company.

Someone that can take questions on BP or meet at the jobsite, ect.Im a finish carpenter and framer with weekends free so I can add alot of value if needed also.

For example, one of the better known framers in our area was $8.50/sq ft for labor and we went with someone at $4.50/sq ft, for our house that was over a $20,000 difference. 

After I did a few rehabs, I learned which subs I liked and which I needed to get rid of, keeping the best for my situation and many of the, are still with me today.As for demo, most framers are fully capable of this task so that isn’t a good place to start for you.

A framer friend of mine stated that he thought the shop was built this way and this is not due to a high load, and he thought I could get away with some bracing, but again, he isn't an engineer.

I hired a foundation contractor, framer and now my best friend who is a flipper has a team & is helping me finish up the rest.
