A recent article on Islands.com highlights Henderson's charm, from its historic petroglyphs and post-WWII transformation to its thriving arts scene, boutique shops, and outdoor adventures.

This is why I love real estate.

The area truly looks devastated, yet you can still see the charm that was there and will be back again. 

The northland (as north of the river is often called) is also a burgeoning home to massive data centers including one built by Facebook’s parent Meta and also has charming and distinctive downtowns including North Kansas City and Parkville.

I love real estate as an investment opportunity and currently have several rentals.

Some properties are yielding decent returns, but most of these are not listed for sale.Tulum is an incredible destination for those who truly understand its charm and would enjoy having a second home or living here.

Probably they do not want to be answerable to investors they roped in first place with their charm and wild promises of high returns.

I love real estate: Many on this forum are finding ways to make $ in REI now which is great.

But again, there is a charm to older properties, because if they do have the proper envelope a great structure, and the ability for a functional layout, they can have a lot of potential. likely a full gut...

I think there are two maybe 3 ways to look at this in my mind.  1) you go into it and bring it all up to modern standards but using that old charm to basically take what is there bring it up to modern standards and rent it out essentially I'm thinking cocktail bar or something trendy like that.2) most banks are on really good centrally located real estate if this is true, then I'd consider it for the dirt, plan to scrape the lot and go vertical with whatever the highest and best use is.3) a kind of combo of the two, if the lot is in a good location and its doable, pull the vaults or other "character pieces" out of the building, scrape the lot, and build whatever is best suited for the site there, but incorporate those historical pieces into the final designs.Is the site near a major retail area?
