Additionally, normally people don't dress up in freaky costumes and parade around chanting rhymes about their sexuality.

It reminds me of a saying from one of my favorite cartoon characters, Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbes) said: "I find it easier to keep everyones expectations low, so I don't have to try hard."
