Use caution when borrowing against your stock portfolio, especially if it's a high volatility portfolio comprised of individual companies.

I've received apps in the past where this was the exact situation only for the borrower to not qualify and be stuck. 

If you are borrowing $150k, rates will not likely drop enough for you to justify a refinance due to lower rates.

As far as rate is concerned, you can usually go about two points over the current rate (less closing costs for a seller financed deal so there is no real expense there) You need to make sure the borrower can cover that.

If I'm borrowing at 7.5%, is that value destruction (unless appreciation is really good)?

Im bringing 400k myself the purchase price is 10 million its an assisted living facility  do you have experience running an assisted living facility?

When you have employees promoting the platform like it is the best platform ever and free accounting services, it was going to go down sooner or later.Pretty sure their other services are going to go down shortly.Baselane is offering assistance I believe, but they are just like Azibo.

I have had to tell borrowers "are you sure you want to move forward with this?
