It's sort of a blue island surrounded by redder (or at least, more purple) environs for a couple hundred miles in every direction.

I've never had it be a factor in my investing plan, but people in NC (a more purple state) swear by it.

Here's what I do (and mind you, painting an already trashed ghetto house vs the million dollar homes I worked on is a little different, but it all comes down to prep)Grease on walls: Get on Amazon and buy yourself a big container of Purple Power.

We had been looking for homes and nothing felt quite right until we walked into this house covered in cat hair with purple and pink kitchen cabinets, bright green receptacle covers, etc.

Some other pros would be weather, globally sought after, growing infrastructure across the state to accomodate high speed rail, space industry, we have several major airports, growing tech/medical industries as well as the ever growing theme park monsters that help to bring in about 70 million people a year here, we stay pretty purple with politics and very alternative lifestyle friendly, schools overall aren't great, but we do have some very good ones including prep schools/acadamy's. landlord friendly and so much more too!

That's not horrible compared to the glossy purple in a crazy cat house I was imagining...
