DH is a network engineer and I have worked in ministry/non profit settings as well as customer service settings. 

We are wanting to buy homes and multifamily charge rent and use that as income for ministry purposes and also to house missionaries and people in need for and from the church.

I’m new to BP and looking for one myself, I am also a youth pastor here in Dallas and looking to get into real estate to help out my ministry needs

I myself own a 4600 sq. ft. house on 20 acres in Redding CA and have rented the rooms to students at a local ministry school, a Christian missionary group, and currently rent to a sober living home, that subleases the rooms to women in transition. 

Now If you are running a ministry, you let them stay.

I was not in Social Security due to being in full time ministry, therefore would not qualify for Medicare at retirement.  

BTW, I'm also in ministry and trying to build up my portfolio for the sameness purpose.

@Jackson Tate  My favorite contractor for that kind of work has retired to full-time ministry. 

I'm in a very similar boat to Blake actually as my wife is an Occupational Therapist and I'm the director at a local ministry.  

My husband and I are Goodness Gracious Ministries.
