Starting small with multifamily properties is my ideal preference at the moment, as I focus on learning, growing, and immersing myself in as much information, data, and real-time experience as possible.As I build my investment portfolio, I could definitely see myself being interested in scaling up to larger acquisitions in the future, but for now, my focus is on mastering the fundamentals and starting small.

I'm an investor here in Columbus OH myself and have seen the city's solid and steady growth with strong economic fundamentals driving the market like major companies moving here (Meta, Intel, Google, Amazon, etc), job growth, and population growth.

I believe that while it is a buyers market and renters market right now, these conditions will change within 5 years, because: - The long-term fundamentals that drive people to migrate to Florida remain unchanged, and a steady influx is a reasonable expectation. - Supply will abate. 2026 and 2027 will see less than half the deliveries nationwide of of 2024 and 2025, respectively, and I bet that is even more extreme in a market like Tampa.
