There are 4 to 5 houses on this private drive way which is paved like a street but is not maintained by the city and most if not all of these houses belong to family members in the estate.I have to concerns about buying this property and please fill me in on your thoughts and opinions. 1.

My main concern about actual house hacking for a few years in a row is that we don't want the kiddos to have to change schools once we relocate up there.I'm thinking about getting an appreciation-oriented duplex/triplex in a pricier market with good schools that we could stay in for several years, and saving for an actual cashflow property that'd we buy as an investment property instead of a house hack.

While he wasn’t successful getting the insurance companies to accept liability (initially), he pointed out to the plaintiffs attorney that (1) the owner of the condo was an LLC, not me personally, and that’ll business concerning the condo was done in the name of the LLC, and (2) the only asset of the Series of that LLC was the condo itself, so that the legal entity owned only that single asset.

More states are creating "just cause" eviction laws, essentially stating the landlord must allow the tenant to remain in the property except for a few specific situations.It won't end well.
