As long as the rent is coming in I wouldn't stir the pot.

Dishwasher,  Many people won't have a lot of pots for the cabinets but everyone will have dirty dishes for the dishwasher.  24 inch DW tends to be cheaper but if you have to go with an 18 it is still worth it. 

Someone stole all of the towels, pots/pans, and a few other things.  

We can't bench the excavation like normal because the property line is too close to the foundation.

I spent about $600 on startup costs: two sets of sheets, blankets, towels, a nice single cup coffee pot, some other decorative touches, and keying the walk out basement door.

It just seems like it would be very difficult without a large pot of money to accumulate enough monthly cash flow to do it full time.  

I wouldn't be waiting any amount of time to deal with a case that can result something showing up on my permanent record or worse, a bench warrant arrest for failure to appear in court and more sanctions.You are welcome to give him a week to secure the property/ send you pictures/ flowers or whatever (however I personally would not recommend this), but these are judicial proceedings and only you or your attorney can take care of these issues directly, so I would take these very seriously and consider these issues your problem alone to settle in coordination with your attorney.
