Also, if the tenant declares it a service/emotional support animal, you can't charge/evict for the pet. 

This should have been done in a few weeks, tops.I would consider declaring the rental uninhabitable and moving the Tenants out.

I recall filling out one declaration per family unit every time I returned from overseas, which was every 2 months when I worked in Africa.

@Hubert ChenBeen a while since i went over this, but I believe technically you'd have to declare the properties as a group, then the 500 or 750 hours applies to the group instead of individually. 

Also some key info here is that KC just declared $1200 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment as affordable, which means rent rates are about to get crazy high, and Overland Park was rated #5 in best cities to live in all of the country!
