I use Thunderbird on desktop, which creates a file on my PC that has my emails in it.As far as privacy, it's simplest to assume that any free-to-you "cloud" service is snooping your data, selling it to anyone with money, and giving it to the feds for free.

I am also aware that using land trusts can get around this but I am not convinced it is worth the hassle since the privacy benefits offered by a land trust are mostly lost in this particular situation.

This amounts to lost opportunity because if you had purchased RE, at the closing it can start producing return. 5) ADUs detract from the existing structure whether this is privacy, a garage, or just yard space. 6) this is related to number 1, but there are many more buyers looking to purchase homes for their family than there are RE investors looking to purchase small unit count properties.
